IMPORTANT UPDATE

Regarding the Unalone Venue at the Water Valley Arts and Music Festival

We regret to announce that the Unalone portion of the Water Valley Arts and Music Festival will not proceed as planned this year. Despite our team’s best efforts and excitement around delivering this unique experience, unforeseen circumstances beyond our control have required us to cancel this venue for the 2025 festival.

We understand this news may be disappointing to many in our community and among our attendees, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding. We will share further updates as they become available and remain committed to bringing forward new and inspiring programming in the future.

Thank you for your continued support.

What to Expect

Camping at Kahou Farm during the Water Valley Arts and Music Festival offers a unique experience surrounded by nature, live music, and great company. Expect a scenic, rustic setting with access to festival performances, delicious local food, and craft beverages. Camping is located just steps away from the action, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the weekend.

  • You will be camping on active, working farms. Please respect the land, the farmers, and the operations by staying within designated camping and festival areas at all times.
  • Expect a rustic and natural setting. Camping areas are unserviced—there are no power or water hookups. Be prepared to be self-sufficient for the duration of your stay.
  • The ground may be uneven, and weather conditions can change quickly. Bring sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a durable tent to ensure your comfort.

What to Bring

Be prepared for the weekend with the right gear to maximize your comfort and enjoyment.

  • Tent, camper, or RV (limited RV spots, no hookups available. RV & Campers limited to VIP ticket holders)
  • Sleeping bag, blankets, and warm clothing (Alberta nights can be chilly)
  • Folding chairs or picnic blankets for relaxing
  • Headlamps or flashlights for night navigation
  • Reusable water bottles
  • Bug spray and sunscreen for day and night protection
  • Garbage bags to pack out what you bring in – let’s keep Kahou Farm clean!

Things to Keep in Mind

  • No open flames, personal fire pits, or outside alcohol are permitted.
  • Quiet hours will be in effect in the camping areas after music ends each night. Please be respectful of your fellow campers who need rest.
  • This is a leave-no-trace event. All campers are responsible for packing out their garbage, recyclables, and personal belongings. Help us keep these farms clean and respected.
  • For safety reasons, pets are not permitted on-site. This helps protect the working farm environment, wildlife, and other guests.
  • You may see farm equipment and livestock in adjacent areas. Please give them space and avoid restricted areas for your safety and the farm’s operation.
