What to Expect
Camping at Fallentimber Meadery during the Water Valley Arts and Music Festival offers a unique experience surrounded by nature, live music, and great company. Expect a scenic, rustic setting with access to festival performances, delicious local food, and craft beverages. Camping is located just steps away from the action, providing a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the weekend.
- You will be camping on active, working farms. Please respect the land, the farmers, and the operations by staying within designated camping and festival areas at all times.
- Expect a rustic and natural setting. Camping areas are unserviced—there are no power or water hookups. Be prepared to be self-sufficient for the duration of your stay.
- The ground may be uneven, and weather conditions can change quickly. Bring sturdy footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a durable tent to ensure your comfort.
What to Bring
Be prepared for the weekend with the right gear to maximize your comfort and enjoyment.
- Tent, camper, or RV (limited RV spots, no hookups available. RV & Campers limited to VIP ticket holders)
- Sleeping bag, blankets, and warm clothing (Alberta nights can be chilly)
- Folding chairs or picnic blankets for relaxing
- Headlamps or flashlights for night navigation
- Reusable water bottles
- Bug spray and sunscreen for day and night protection
- Garbage bags to pack out what you bring in – let’s keep Fallentimber clean!
Things to Keep in Mind
- No open flames, personal fire pits, or outside alcohol are permitted. Fallentimber Meadery offers on-site food and beverage options.
- Quiet hours will be in effect in the camping areas after music ends each night. Please be respectful of your fellow campers who need rest.
- This is a leave-no-trace event. All campers are responsible for packing out their garbage, recyclables, and personal belongings. Help us keep these farms clean and respected.
- For safety reasons, pets are not permitted on-site. This helps protect the working farm environment, wildlife, and other guests.
- You may see farm equipment and livestock in adjacent areas. Please give them space and avoid restricted areas for your safety and the farm’s operation.

Do I need to reserve a camping spot?
Camping at Fallentimber is first-come, first-served. While there are no individual reservations, a camping pass is required to access the area. Secure your spot early by arriving on time.
What types of camping are available?
Fallentimber offers tent camping and small camper/trailer spaces. There are no electrical or water hookups available for RVs.
Are there washrooms and showers?
Yes, there are portable restrooms on-site, but there are no showers. We recommend bringing biodegradable wipes for quick clean-ups.
Can I bring my own food and drinks?
You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks, but outside alcohol is not permitted. Fallentimber Meadery serves craft beverages, and food vendors will be available on-site.
Are campfires allowed?
No open fires are permitted due to fire safety regulations. However, designated campfire areas may be available if conditions allow.
Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not permitted.
What are the quiet hours?
While the festival runs late into the night, quiet hours in the camping area begin at 2:00 AM. Please respect fellow campers by keeping noise to a minimum.
